It's a little known fact that we can abuse the soft clipper in the Glue Compressor to acheive excellent clipping.
For many years we've used this trick to gain level on the output stages of our TRAX templetes.
We have now racked these for you and they are available for download > HERE <
The racks include a pre-input drive with a corresponding post-output reduction to maintain unity gain or add a subtle volume boost. This setup offers the option for a slight level increase when adjusting the drive - A feature I personally enjoy, as even a small boost enhances the tactile response when turning a knob.
We’ve also included basic high-pass and low-pass filters within the racks for added control over the final output.
